Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do you calculate video dimensions from aspect ratio?

Fix width: height = width × ratio height ÷ ratio width. Fix height: width = height × ratio width ÷ ratio height. Default 16:9 with width 1920 → height 1080.

Which preset matches Shorts, Reels, and TikTok?

9:16 vertical. With width 1080 you get height 1920, the common vertical HD export. 16:9 is landscape YouTube. 1:1 is square feed.

What are megapixels on the results card?

Width × height ÷ 1,000,000, rounded to two decimals. 1920×1080 = 2.07 MP. Useful when comparing sensor crop vs export resolution.

Does the preview box match exact pixels?

The box is a visual ratio preview scaled to fit the card, not a pixel ruler. Use the numeric width and height outputs for export settings in Premiere, CapCut, or DaVinci.
