Zelle Transfer Limit Tracker

Zelle itself does not charge a send fee. Banks set daily and monthly caps. This page subtracts what you already sent from the limits your bank published.

Zelle is usually free. The constraint is the cap.

People search for a Zelle fee calculator and find nothing to deduct. What actually blocks a rent payment is the daily or monthly limit your bank assigned after enrollment.

Defaults leave $2,100 today and $16,500 this month, so $500 fits. For a paid rail with a real percent, use Venmo Fee Calculator or Wise International Transfer Fee Calculator.

Formula

leftDay = max(0, daily - sentToday). leftMonth = max(0, monthly - sentMonth). maxNext = min(leftDay, leftMonth). The next payment fits when it is less than or equal to maxNext.

If you already sent $2,500 today on a $2,500 daily cap, remaining today is $0 even if the monthly cap still has room.

Do not treat this as a bank API

Limits can reset at midnight local time, on a rolling 24 hours, or on a statement month, depending on the bank. Enter what the app currently shows as used.

This page never initiates a Zelle payment and never stores your bank login.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does Zelle charge a percentage fee?

Participating US banks typically send and receive Zelle at $0. This tracker does not subtract a processor percent. If your bank lists a fee, it is unusual; check that bank, not this default.

Why are the limits editable?

Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and credit unions publish different daily and monthly caps, and unverified enrollments are lower. Paste the numbers from your bank app. Defaults ($2,500 / $20,000) are a planning example, not your bank.

How is remaining capacity calculated?

Remaining today = daily limit minus sent today. Remaining this month = monthly limit minus sent this month. The next payment can be at most the smaller of those two remainders. Defaults: $2,100 today and $16,500 this month, so a $500 send fits.

Does this track incoming Zelle?

No. It is a send-side headroom worksheet. Incoming receive limits, 30-minute windows, and name-mismatch holds are bank operations, not this form.
