What is the default $10,000 / 100 pledge result?

Platform $500. Processing = 100 x (average $100 x 3% + $0.30) = 100 x $3.30 = $330. Total fees $830, payout $9,170. Failed mode returns $0 payout and $0 fees.

Why does pledge count matter?

Processing is per pledge. The same $10,000 from 1,000 pledges of $10 incurs more $0.30 pieces than 50 pledges of $200. Average pledge = raised / count.

Are pledges under $10 cheaper?

Kickstarter publishes a micropledge processing rate (5% + $0.08). This page does not switch to that table. If most pledges are under $10, payout here may be slightly wrong. Flag: micropledge mix needs a later refinement.

Does this include reward fulfillment?

No. Shipping, manufacturing, and taxes are your costs after payout. This is platform plus processing only.
