Dedupe before you paste into a caption
Copying tag blocks from old posts stacks duplicates (#travel twice) and mixed case (#Foodie vs #foodie). This tool normalizes the list in the browser.
Default sample removes 2 duplicates from 7 parsed tokens, leaving 5 unique tags on separate lines with lowercase on.
Counters show unique tags, removed dupes, and total parsed tokens so you can confirm nothing was dropped by mistake.
Formatting choices for each network
Instagram captions often want a block of tags at the end, either line breaks or spaced on one line. TikTok allows fewer tags; dedupe first, then trim manually to the top 5 relevant tags.

How does hashtag deduplication work?
The parser pulls #word tokens from your paste, strips the hash for comparison, and keeps the first instance of each tag case-insensitively. Default messy input #travel #foodie #travel #NYC yields 5 unique tags after dedupe.
What does lowercase output do?
When checked, every tag is lowercased before the # is reattached (#Foodie → #foodie). Instagram search treats many tags as case-insensitive; lowercase keeps lists tidy.
One line vs one tag per line?
Unchecked (default): one hashtag per line, easy to scan. Checked "space-separated": one line with spaces, ready for an Instagram caption footer.
Does this validate banned or shadowbanned tags?
