How does PNG compression work here?
Upload PNG, set quality slider 10 to 100 percent. Quality scales output dimensions before canvas PNG export. 100 percent keeps original size. Lower quality shrinks width and height proportionally, which reduces file bytes.
Will quality 100 always shrink the file?
Not always. Re-encoding PNG at full size may be similar or slightly larger. Meaningful savings usually appear below 100 percent when dimensions drop.
